Sarah is an Accredited Practising Dietitian at Sandstone Healthcare, holding a Bachelor of Medical Science (Nutrition) and a Master of Dietetics Studies. With a background in private practice that taught her early on that nutrition is never one-size-fits-all Sarah focusses on your goals and needs.
She knows everyone brings their own health needs, relationship with food, and everyday circumstances into the room. Sarah’s approach has become more practical and individualised over time. She breaks things down into small, realistic goals rather than strict rules or short-term fixes.
She also encourages people to be cautious about nutrition advice they see on social media, and to stop comparing their diet to someone else’s, since everyone’s needs are different.
Culture and tradition matter too. Sarah works with your food and family traditions, not against them. Rather than asking you to give them up, she is interested in the blends which can be achieved so that everyone is happy.
Sarah says: “People are often doing better than they think. When someone feels overwhelmed, we break things down into realistic goals and build from there. Nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated, and your plan doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.”
We’re passionate about good health.
This means our whole team – GPs, nurses, allied health, specialists – work together to give you the time and attention you need. We get to know you, earn your trust, and use our combined specialties to offer new and improved models of care.
Our team sees this as a partnership with you because you know your own life best. And with each other, because great healthcare isn’t a solo act.
As a not-for-profit practice, we invest profits back into bringing fairness and quality healthcare to the communities who need it.
We put our passion into practice because that’s what the best healthcare needs.
